I really like to make all kinds of truffle recipes. they're so easy, decorative and are perfect for any occasion. these OREO muffins are a family favourite, in addition to sugar cookie truffles, chocolate chip cookie dough truffles and brownie desserts.
OREO TRUFFLES
Those OREO cookie balls were round for years and are such an easy dessert to make across the holidays. you could also hear them known as OREO muffins, which makes them sound a touch fancier. My youngsters LOVE those OREO cake balls and question me to lead them to ever 12 months for Christmas dessert plates. they are so smooth and delicious!
I really like that this OREO balls recipe is so easy to make, but they appearance fancy as if you got them from a nearby bakery! I’ll usually drizzle the OREO balls with chocolate and top some of them with cookie crumbles. I occasionally even upload colored sprinkles too! they may be best for any holiday and are so fun to beautify!
INGREDIENTS:
- 36 OREO cookies (1 package)
- 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 8 ounces baking chocolate (I prefer melting wafers)
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Then overwhelm the oreos (with filling) in a blender or meals processor.
- Mix collectively the oreo crumbs and cream cheese with a hand mixer. If it is not coming together, get your arms in there and mix it up.
- Use a small cookie scoop to scoop out the dough. Then roll into a ball along with your hands and location onto the pan.
- Freeze for 10-15 mins or till barely company. You don't want them too cold.
- Soften the chocolate and stir until smooth. Then use a fork to dip the oreo balls into the chocolate. faucet on the brink of the bowl to get the easy finish. Use a toothpick to help slide the ball onto the pan. permit to harden.
- Save in the fridge until ready to serve.
